About Me

self_portrait2.JPG

My extensive background in physics, mathematics and computer science have suited me well (to speak Klingon) but none have sparked my creativity like knitting has. The knitting, designing, number crunching, pattern writing and publishing fulfills me in a way that cubicle life never did.

I design mostly seamless knitwear and quick innovative knit items. As a bonus, knitting and designing keeps me sane during my day job as a Stay at Home Mom.

If that wasn't enough I'm also a physics graduate student, and I'll have my Masters degree just as soon as I finish my thesis (which I'll work on right after I finish this row...).

I've been knitting, blogging, designing, and maintaining my website since 2004.
