Duck, duck...
I'm finally finishing up my thesis. Looking back I can see that this [copious bad language] degree started sucking the joy out of my bones this time last year. I won't bore you with tales of insomnia, eating too many chocolate cakes and other sad sob stories. But there is finally light at the end of this (neverending) tunnel. I've started reading books for fun, started taking pictures, and of course knitting again. Look below for two new hobbies, because there's no better time to start new stuff than the midst of degree finishing.
PS Go check out the latest Knitcircus, for my newest pattern. They've changed formats to digital and it is really done well.

adorable hat!
so your new hobbies are... running a petting zoo for the local farmer's market and keeping the ducks comfy with hand-woven wing-warmers? ;)

Ahhh! I've been wanting to give weaving a try for the longest time! Those cricket looms are soooo cute too. Perhaps next winter.
Oh and child's head used for size comparison to ball of roving? Hmmm...I usually use glasses of wine as a measurement tool but whatever floats your boat! ;)

Weaving! Am so afraid to go there- I'll have to give up sleeping or eating if I try to fit in one more thing. And giving up eating is just not an option...

Oh those pics are wonderful! =)
I just got that loom a few weeks ago. I tried to warp it once couldn't figure it out so I had a glass of wine. 3 glasses later I just gave up and ate chocolate, lol.
