The Beauty of DIY

This birthday I want to celebrate DIY. Doing it yourself can be magical. And I"m not talking about my typical magical DIY that involves cursing, fingers sewn together, late night ER visits, or the gnashing of teeth created when eating all those DIY hand baked cookies by myself. Sometimes, SOMETIMES it goes just the way you think it should.

Like when you

Spin scraps into yarn, and knit yarn into socks.
sock weight scraps

And hats.
bulky scrappies

Sewing clothes.
babylock

Making Future Robots of America.
Maya's Robot Costume

And patterns so other people can DIY.

Hopefully all these can be accomplished this year without any trips to the ER, overdoses on cookies, or falling down in front of others. I'd like to think I'm a little more mature and refined at 33, dammit.
