LOL. Can I relate. I watch TV and notice the sweaters more than the program, often thinking, "That wouldn't be so hard to do." Then there are the non-knitted clothing items that I am sure would be much better looking as knitted.

I believe what you need in your case of advanced knitting compulsion is MORE knitting time! Taking your lead I'm gonna look for inspiration in Nurse Jackie tonight.

Works for me! (and Ida, while watching Gilmore Girls on DVD w/ friends, I've made them stop the show so I could sketch sweaters. If its real time tv, I've learned to sketch at the speed of light. Now if I could just knit them that fast...)

Is there a cure for OCKD (same as OCD but the K is for knitting)?
If so, I wanna stay far away from it :)

:)
I knit on the train, watching t.v, in the cinema, on car journeys, in meetings and any time when I've got to wait. I knit inside, outside, standing up, lying in bed...everywhere except the bath (and one day I'm going to have a knitting deadline which may well see bath-time knitting...).
It's not obsession, it's productivity, female style.

Must avoid this addiction at all costs, I could get swamped & grandkids are a good 10 yrs away at least.

I don't see how threatening Elmo keeps you knitting. :)
