Old Dog
I'm making decent time on Maya's 'Ween costume. The baby pants pattern from Bella Knitting includes a link to the suspended bind off technique.

Which saved me the trouble of getting off of the couch to search out a much larger needle for binding off the first leg. I'll be using this bind off in the future if only out of sheer laziness. Now, if only the pants will fit.
Necessity is the Mother of Knitvention
I'd have never gone in the direction my self designed Nordic EPS sweater is taking if I was certain I had enough yarn to complete the project.

But I must say I really like the way things are headed. Stranded knitting holds the same excitement as knitting self patterning sock yarns only way better since I'm in the driver's seat.
Being the bad piss poor driver however requires I take responsibility for my errors

One dropped stitch and 2000 ripped stitches later, I realize that mis-reading the chart will make an uglyish pattern no matter how much I wish otherwise.
Here's the first installment of what I'd like to call A prime example of my lazy Great Parenting Skills.

I hope this one doesn't come back to haunt me.
